Dr. Valmond earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, and completed his Doctor of Medicine at the prestigious Howard University College of Medicine. He went on to train at Albert Einstein/Long Island Jewish Medical Center, completing both his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Nephrology, later earning certification in Interventional Nephrology through the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Valmond has balanced hands-on clinical care with academic leadership, having served as Assistant Professor at Long Island College Hospital for five years. His passion for innovation in healthcare is reflected in his contributions to both basic science and clinical research, as well as his dedication to mentoring the next generation of physicians.

He merges Western and Eastern practices, emphasizing lifestyle, nutrition, and individualized care to promote optimal health at every stage of life.
Dr. Valmond’s leadership extended to his role as Medical Director at MedRite Urgent Care in NYC, where he launched impactful patient care initiatives and innovative wellness programs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he organized community-based testing drives and house calls across Harlem, ensuring equitable access to care during a time of crisis.
As Medical Advisor to the COVID-19 Urban Outreach Council, part of We Are Not Afraid, Inc., he continues to support mobile medical outreach to underserved Black and Brown communities throughout New York City.
Originally from the island of Dominica, Dr. Valmond was inspired to pursue medicine at just seven years old. That early curiosity, combined with a lifelong passion for people and healing, continues to drive his mission: to help individuals not just live—but thrive—at any age.
